Dr. Santos
Aileen Santos, MD has been a clinical and research dermatologist since 2012. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the ‘Academic Excellence Award’. She completed her training in dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico and she was chosen as Chief Resident of the department during her third year of training. She is currently a professor of dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico.
As a medical doctor and a professor, Dr. Santos has extensive experience in research studies and regularly lectures on the latest topics in dermatology. She has authored multiple publications on dermatology and has been published in The American Journal of Dermatopathology and Contemporary Pediatrics, to name a few. She also plays an active role in her community, volunteering at several local medical clinics in her area, and is an active member on several boards and committees.
Dr. Santos has a special passion for dermatology and brings her knowledge and enthusiasm to each of her patients. She offers both medical and cosmetic services to suit all of your skincare needs. Dr. Santos is bilingual in both the English and Spanish languages.
